These are images from a photo shoot for Dow Chemical back in the late 1980s. The product was Dowanol, a paint additive. Those were wild days when the discussion of the ad budget usually ended in. "Just make it nice." These images were shot on 35mm slide film from about 40 feet away inside a Raleigh, North Carolina warehouse studio. We used a painted backdrop and a fog machine. The film was then pushed to add more graininess. The images were part of an ad campaign that won Best Of Show at the Grand Rapids, Michigan ADDY awards. A lifetime ago.
